Working with WY&H HCP to increase the value of patient applications

How does a health system realise value from patient held applications whilst ensuring a consistent user experience, reducing duplication and embedding new standards - all without stifling innovation? The Clarity Practice is working on a new project with West Yorkshire & Harrogate (WY&H) Healthcare Partnership (HCP) to address this challenge.

The ICS, who we recently supported through a digital strategy development exercise, follows a “place-led” digital approach where digital initiatives are run at a local level by by teams closer to the populations they serve. However, it is widely recognised that these initiatives can cause duplication and may result in difficult user experiences, especially for those people who have multiple conditions or deal with multiple NHS organisations.

The project will involve engaging regional stakeholders and reviewing existing initiatives and those in the pipeline followed by the development of a practical framework to support the ongoing qualification, testing and embedding of these important and valuable applications, whilst involving regional partners to learn and benefit throughout the process.
